Our next Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED skills verification class is January 10th, 2026 in Calimesa
Meet Requirements: Satisfies OSHA and other workplace regulatory requirements.
Save Lives: Gain the confidence to provide critical care when minutes matter.
The Adult Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED training provides non-medical professionals with the knowledge and skills to respond to emergencies, including first aid for injuries and illnesses, and performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for cardiac emergencies. Courses cover a range of scenarios, such as burns, bleeding, head injuries, heart attacks, strokes, and choking, and are available in various formats, including in-person, online, and blended learning. Successful completion results in a two-year digital certification, and participants receive online refreshers to maintain their skills.
First Aid: You'll learn to recognize and care for injuries like cuts, burns, and head, neck, and back injuries, as well as sudden illnesses and environmental emergencies like heat and cold exposure.
CPR: This training teaches you how to provide rescue breaths and chest compressions to adults, children, and infants to maintain blood flow during a cardiac emergency.
AED Use: You'll learn the steps for using an AED to provide an electrical shock to a person in cardiac arrest.
In-Person Classes: Hands-on training with instructors and fellow participants.
Online Only: Ideal for individuals who prefer self-paced learning and can meet OSHA requirements without needing in-person skills sessions.
Blended Learning: A mix of online modules to learn concepts and an in-person skills session to practice hands-on techniques.
Upon successful completion, you will receive a digital certificate valid for two years.
The certificate provides access to your training history and can be viewed, printed, or shared online.
